He played Elvis Presley (Elvis, TV movie). He played King Henry VIII (The Tudors). Now Jonathan Rhys Meyers will star in Dracula, NBC's new series debuting in TV's Fall spooky season. The series is set during a Victorian London era, when Dracula arrives to town posing as an American entrepreneur. His mission: to avenge his own death. NBC hopes to stake the horror competition Oct. 25, premiering alongside new seasons of FX's American Horror Story and AMC's The Walking Dead. Dracula could turn out to be a decent period piece, capitalizing on Drac's thirst for flesh - or it could be a bloody mess. Jonathan Rhys Meyers is a talented actor, who seems like a perfect fit for this twist on the Bram Stoker tale. Rhys Meyers also has the anticipated The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones coming out this year.
