The 2014 Oscar Nominations are finally out! This year's Oscars has 9 Best Picture nominees, leaving out Inside Llewyn Davis and Saving Mr. Banks for the 10th available slot. This year it wasn't Leonardo DiCaprio that was wrongfully snubbed, but Robert Redford, for his one-man show in All is Lost . It seems there were too many award worthy performances for actors in a leading role, as Tom Hanks' Captain Phillips has also been left out. Sci-fi epic Gravity and overrated American Hustle lead the race with 10 nominations each. T he 86th Academy Awards will air March 2, 2014.
