Dynamic duo Diablo Cody (Juno, United States of Tara)and Jason Reitman (Juno, Up in the Air) strike again with their latest dark comedy Young Adult. The film follows a woman (Charlize Theron) who is immensely screwed up and enigmatic to watch, though may be viewed as a modern monster (but, only because she's a woman). Theron gives her best on-screen work since 2003's Monster as the unapologetic writer who struggles with her status as a young adult, while taking swigs from her buddy Patton Oswalt's (United States of Tara) "Star Wars juice," and destroying every person who gets in the way of marriage-reassignment with a high school ex. Equipped with a '90s college rock soundtrack, watch as Theron returns home and shakes the town up.
