Next year, it will be 20 years after the neo-noir The Crow made its way to theaters, following the unexpected on set death of its star Brandon Lee. Son of Martial arts legend Bruce Lee, Brandon, playing the title character Eric Draven, was killed in a freak accident while filming a shooting scene for The Crow. With the premature death of Lee, production of the film was forced to shut down. The Crow was later completed using CGI special effects and body doubles of Brandon Lee. Based on the gothic graphic novel by James O'Barr, The Crow tells the story of a rock musician who is resurrected by a crow to avenge his death and the death of his fiancé, one year after the brutal murder of the couple. Spanish director F. Javier Gutierrez will retell the gothic story in his remake starring Luke Evans (The Raven, Immortals), who beat out actors including Alexander Skarsgard (True Blood) and James McAvoy (X-Men), as the new Eric Draven. It is still unknown when production for The Crow reboot will begin, as Evans has also signed on to play the count himself in Universal's Dracula: Year Zero.

Actors and actresses in the Poltergeist trilogy who died untimely deaths are: Dominique Dunne , who played older sister Dana in the first film, was st...
