The 2014 Oscar Nominations are finally out! This year's Oscars has 9 Best Picture nominees, leaving out Inside Llewyn Davis and Saving Mr. Banks for the 10th available slot. This year it wasn't Leonardo DiCaprio that was wrongfully snubbed, but Robert Redford, for his one-man show in All is Lost . It seems there were too many award worthy performances for actors in a leading role, as Tom Hanks' Captain Phillips has also been left out. Sci-fi epic Gravity and overrated American Hustle lead the race with 10 nominations each. T he 86th Academy Awards will air March 2, 2014. I know what you're thinking: we don't need another A Star is Born remake, right? Well, this one changes the game, and the color, and removes the chatter. Apparently, the stars Jean Dujardin and Bérénice Bejo rehearsed their dance scenes in Gene Kelly and Debbie Reynold's studio! But, The Artist does more than just sing in the rain...It danced its way into nostalgic black-and-white hearts from here to eternity.
